Kurlon, can you guess total weight? Tongue weight of trailer? How fast did you usually drive on highway?

2021 4XE Rubicon, maybe?
I'm guessing total weight of around 2500lbs on the trailer, tongue weight of 250lbs ish. I was doing anywhere from 60 to 75 on the highway, basically staying with traffic. On the way down I averaged 70, on the way back I was a bit more sedate, averaging 65.

Was thinking something like this: https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/r-pod/RP-171C/8125

HITCH WEIGHT325 lb
Unloaded Vehicle Weight 2,499 lb.

Figure 30lbs of water = 240lbs
Propane tank 37lbs
We have exactly this trailer. 2022 Wrangler 4Xe towing a 2023 R-Pod 171. First, we love the trailer! It’s an awesome setup and one of the best for this weight. The Jeep does fine pulling it for short trips with just my husband and I. Gas mileage did drop as low as 10-12mpg when pulling in windy conditions and at higher speeds (65-70mph). However, we are in the process of planning a road trip to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone for the summer and just learned that the Wrangler’s payload is not sufficient to carry our family of four and the trailer. With a payload of only 850lbs and a trailer tongue weight of about 350lbs, there’s not enough remaining capacity for the four of us and cargo (the kids are teens so basically 4 adults). For just two adults, it should be fine but I do recommend replacing/enhancing the rear suspension.
