Thanks a lot , if it is not an hazard then i keep it a little bit longer like that until i have the chance to replace the shocksIt looks like the finish was scraped off. Any exposed metal is going to rust. If it bothers you, you can sand it and paint it but it would have to go pretty deep before breaking. By then it will be time to upgrade/replace your shocks anyway.

Just let it ride imhowould you recommend to try to clean it a little and cover it with anti-rust spray ?
Must be my old eyes thenIf there was a hole, wouldn't the oil leak out? I see nothing but rust and a scrape.
Wire brush it and give it a coat of spray black paint, it's what I do when I see anything rusting.
