On the jeep.com builder site, it no longer has the Hinge-Gate reinforcement as standard, and the gears are listed as 4.10 instead of 4.56. It also says the Roc-Trac part time 4wd system is standard, instead of the full time 4wd system that normally comes standard on the X. Does the X still come with the XR package embedded? Why does this have to be so confusing?

I saw that too- also no Recon package or 35” tire option available on the X as of last week. Interesting the package is being de-contented so soon in the MY26 run. Could be they want to make the recon pkg, tires, gears and auto 4wd transfer case part of an upcoming “drop” vehicle

It would be interesting to see someone do a comparison of the current JLU Rubi X to a 2024 JLU Rubi X. I can't prove this, but I wonder if they are selling these current ones at a "discount" from the 70k price and have removed/changed the better parts with cheaper parts. I agree with you that it seems like this is a complicated puzzle which makes me suspicious.

These questions about option availability, auto 4wd, etc come up all the time. It would be nice if some of the salespeople who advertise on here all the time would weigh in on this stuff.

The "Build and price" for the RubiX is fucked and has been for a while.

You can ask them directly: either on one of their threads, mention them here, or by email. Details, of course, in my sig.

The builder on jeep.com has been notoriously wrong for years.

Yes, with an automatic it does. The best thing to do is go to the Jeep website, select "shop online", pick Wrangler Rubicon X and it will take you to an inventory search. On the left side you can filter options and distance. It will then sort the Wranglers by the number of options matched to your filters. In the list of Wranglers you can then click on the VIN and it will pull up the window sticker. You can also click on the dealer name for each Wrangler and it will take you to the listing for that Wrangler on the dealers website.

They're the same. They've reduced the prices on most of the 2026 Wranglers, but they don't get the factory incentives that the previously shipped ones with the higher sticker prices do. You can find identical 2026 Wranglers with vastly different sticker prices and the exact same options depending on when they were shipped.

Thanks! I will try this.
