my 24 Rubi X 4xe doesn't list it on the sticker. Looks like since they come with 33's - no hinge reinforcement included

That’s what I thought, but I’m being charged for the hinge gate on my order that includes the 24Y package with 35 inch tires.

You should not be charged - tell them! I have my Jeep now, I did not add it as an option, and it came with the hinge gate - no charge. Good luck!!

Is yours a 4xe ? I think since the 4xe come w/ 33s they amay not get the hinge reinforcement…. Just imho..

Mine is 4-door with 3.6L engine and 35” tires. That might be the difference.

I have a Rubicon X 4xe on order (33'' tires). The hinge gate reinforcement wasn't included but I was able to add it as an option.

If I build a Willys or Rubicon on Jeep.com and add the 35'' tires, it looks like it gets added automatically as part of that package.

That is correct. The hinged reinforcement is an option on the 4xe.

The build sheet for my 24Y package also listed the HGR as an added cost. After bringing it to my dealers attention, they removed the cost and informed me it's already included in the 24Y package.

You should not be paying extra for it.

Does anyone know for sure whether the 2024 Rubicon X comes with Mopar Hinge-Gate Reinforcement or if that is an option? I ask because on the Build Your Jeep site, it is an option. However, my dealer couldn’t seem to add it. And someone else mentioned it comes with the X due to the 35 inch tires. If anyone knows for sure, can you tell me how you know as well? Thanks!!

Was it a 2 Door, or a 4 door with manual transmission? On the Rubicon X the 4 door with the automatic transmission automatically comes with the "Xtreme Recon" options including 35" tires, etc. However, people have still noted it was not on their jeep even though the order guide seems to indicate that the XDG package code (for the hinge gate reinforcement) is included with the DFT and 2TY options; e.g. the 4 door Rubicon X with auto transmission.

I had requested it on mine expecting it is coming with the 35" tire package, and my dealer was able to still add the code to the POC even though it shows it is supposed to be included. I'll have them double check it and remove the cost once I'm picking it up.

I have a 24 X with 35 on order. it does not come standard with the 35. You have to option it in when you order. The online order guide is correct it is an option

Indeed. I was going to ask @12psi if they had updated order guides since February and the AUX Switch & Hitch issue but that thread is locked now. As of the last order guide from January it shows that it is supposed to be included on the 4 door Rubicon X with Auto transmission.

I'm wondering if the people noting it not coming with the 35" package are with manual transmission or 2 doors who've optioned the 35" package (rather than it being included as with the 4 door automatic transmission). Still it's pretty stupid if it isn't included when you option the 35" tire package regardless.
