Hey everyone, first time posting here.

I've been doing my research on Jeep Wranglers and I've decided to pull the trigger on a 2024 Rubicon.

I was building my own Rubicon and the price was pretty damn close to the Rubicon X.

Here is where things are getting confusing for me.

For the Rubicon X build sheet (the one you can find on this forum) - it shows things being included for the X trim, such as:

4G LTE WiFi Hotspot (from the tech package)
Auto-High Beam Headlamp Control (from the safety package)
Blind Spot and Cross path detection (again, from the safety package)
Heated Steering Wheel (from the convenience package)
Heated Seats (again, from the convenience package)
Leather Seats (from the MCKINLEY TRIMMED SEATS package)
Power Seats (again, from the MCKINLEY TRIMMED SEATS package)

So, I am assuming that these items are not just by them selves, but they are the package it self, that the Rubicon X is getting ALL the packages (safety, technology, convenience, MCKINLEY TRIMMED SEATS, including the steel bumpers, color matching fenders/top, etc).

This means I am assuming the X comes with the adaptive cruise control, because the DFT package comes with it (the auto trans) - and even though it does not say the X has adaptive cruise control, I am pretty sure it does. It also does not specifically say that it gets the rock-trac all-time transfer case, but again, pretty sure it does, because it comes with the DFT package now it seems. (and articles online say it comes with it, but again, it's still not listed in the "X" column for the trim)

I am also assuming it comes with remote start, because this is part of the convenience package, and other things, like heated seats, are from the package.
Also, if you look at the build sheet, remote start is included for the 4Xe Rubicon X in the list, but it's not included in the list for the regular Rubicon.

So, with all that said, I'm assuming, no wait... I'm hoping that the Rubicon X comes with all of the goods from each package, even if it was not listed in the "X" column. Hell, you can't even add the tech, convenience , or safety packages to the Rubicon X. For the price, it sure seems like it should have them all. (I know it does not have the winch, it seems, but it seems to have everything else) - I built a Rubicon with all the packages except safety package, steel bumpers and power/leather seats, and it was about 3400 less than the X trim

What are your thoughts? Anyone from a dealer that can verify every specific option that comes with an X trim build?

Thanks in advance!

Lots of stuff I’m not too sure of either like 4.56 gears with the 35” tires . Yesterday it shows optional 4.88 gears.

From what I see, you get the 4.56 standard once you get the 8 speed auto and the 35 inch tire package. Then you can upgrade to 4.88 as well.

That’s exactly what I figured as well but it’s not very clear.

The 'group detail' part of the pricing sheet is confusing.

The model guide that came out in April shows every model apart from the Sport as having ACC/FCW (advance cruise control and forward collision warning). FCW is just on the verge of being a federal mandate.

The pricing sheet only mentions adaptive cruise control in the DFT option, but only on the JLJS74 (Rubicon). But we know that the Sport S, Willys etc should have ACC. Then there are a bunch of non Auto trans items in DFT that look like they should be in the 35" tire package AGB, like 17x8 wheels, which is also dupicated in the AGB package.

I wanted to build a Rubicon without leather but with a body colored hard top and there is no way to do so. The Rubicon X was $1000 more than the base Rubicon with the packages I wanted, but if the body colored hard top was actually available for the base Rubicon then it would have been almost exactly the same price.

The standard features that come on the base Rubicon also come on the X plus all the additional options in the X package unless they are replaced with an upgraded item as part of the X package.

I have some new info.

The Rubicon X can come with Manual with a 3.6, or Auto with 2.0 or 3.6.
The Adaptive Cruise Control only comes with an Auto.
The Remote Start only comes with an Auto.

Because of this, these features are not listed with the "Package Content" - because if you select manual, you don't get them.
It does seem that if you get the Auto trans, you will get these features with the Rubicon X trim.

The 4Xe has remote start listed because it does not come with a manual.

You cannot get 4.88 with the 35 inch tire package. It's 4.56 only

I have read or seen in articles that this year, Jeep has reduced the Al-A-Cart options in favor of trim packages to streamline production (lower costs). I know when I ordered my Rubicon X, there were very few options for me to add/detract options. The only thing I found that the X did not "come with" was the winch. That was an add on. If you built a Rubicon, you can add or detract more items but you will see your build will quickly surpass the cost of the X AND you will not get the additional sound deadening carpet, the foam insulated A/B pilars.

Hell yea, that is my understanding as well.

I ordered the X with the same idea - that I'm getting everything except the winch, including stuff you can't get without the X, like the insulation and sound deadening.
