Slow and careful, remember its all rocks and they can be unforgiving, just chose you line with care and you will get thru it. Also it gets wet in places and that can affect traction, air down as much as you can.

I ran the trail in two days. I wish I would have spent three days and not rushed so much.
I’ve done it before in 2 days. Not this time, we are taking 2 to get to the springs, spending a day there, then up the hill.
I so f’ing happy right now!

Take your time and don’t forget to look around. It’s so easy to get hyper focused on the trail and you can forget that your in one of the most beautiful places in the world to wheel.

We're doing the Jeep Jamboree Rubicon Trail Expedition in September. Three days on that trail after spending about five days beforehand doing trails around Ouray CO with our patrol in the Mile High Jeep Club.

One unexpected (to me) thing that I've been warned about is the black dust. I assume it's volcanic and gets everywhere / into everything.

Jeep Jamboree's requirements: minimum of 37s, front and rear lockers, good tow points, and skid plates covering the fuel cell, transfer case and rocker panels.

I've also got front and rear diff skids on order from Next Venture Motorsports. Hopefully those will be here in time for me to get them installed.

I don’t run bead locks and I’ve run it twice at 12 psi with D rated Patagonias. If I had C rated tires I’d probably run 15.

This is so true, that's why I think three days is better than two days to do the trail.

Going on the 31st for the first time.Taking 3 days to run the trail.Super excited this has been on my list for over 20 years!
You’ll be a couple days behind us. If you see a couple of old guys working on either a sting gray wrangler or a white eco diesel gladiator, that would mean things have gone horribly wrong, please check on us…….we might be getting low on scotch.

Was there the 14th. Even saw snow toward the Tahoe side it was next to the trail. It’s an amazing trail worth your time and then some! Enjoy it, slow and steady! The stars at night do not disappoint as well.
