Earned my first badge of honor, and boy was it a doozy. The namesake trail for the Wrangler Rubicon is no joke, it will push your vehicle and your abilities to the limits and beyond. We were a group of 3 - myself in the 4xe, and 2 other with old CJ7's built for rock crawling. All on 37's.
While they had a substantial advantage in the ground clearance department, with frames at least 8" higher from the ground than mine, and about a foot shorter wheelbase, overall the 4xe had no issues keeping up and, in fact, was often the vehicle waiting at the top of obstacles for the others to catch up. Only needed a spotter one time, and never had to use the winch at all (except to help pull one of the CJ7's up a difficult obstacle).
No body or mechanical damage at all, apart from a dented exhaust tip, and my steering stabilizer that got absolutely destroyed. I ended up just removing the steering stabilizer altogether and all was good after that, in fact even on the highway it's totally fine without it, I'm honestly debating not even putting a new one in. At the very least I need to relocate it above the axle in the future.
Metalcloak Undercloak skid system, and LoD Signature rock sliders all worked amazing, and got used A LOT. They did their job beautifully, keeping the rest of the Jeep totally intact and unscathed.
And for those wondering, the 4xe battery on a full charge will do roughly about 1/4 of the trail distance, or about 3 miles. Which is pretty darn good considering it was 3 miles of driving in 4-low over ridiculously difficult terrain. I ended the trip with half a tank of fuel remaining.
