First off, I am well aware that these are not the ultimate in strength or protection. However, for my use case, they will be sufficient. With that out of the way, here are some pictures of how I augmented my factory Rubicon sliders.
I started with some 1-1/2" x 0.120" wall tube:
Then mocked it up on the Jeep:
Once I was happy with how it laid out, I pulled the slider off and finished up the welding on the bench:
Rinse and repeat for the passenger side, and then I cleaned them up and shot them with the same Rust-Oleum Charcoal Metallic that I used on my front bumper build:
