I could be wrong, but what I am getting is that the OP abandoned wiring to an OEM switch as it would be more costly. I have been researching the opposite and trying to get my lockers off the OEM switch onto separate switches. I like controlling the lockers as needed, not just all or rear only. (I have a hard time with getting it in rear only anyways)

Thanks, I do agree it would be nice to be able to have them function that way, but since he gave me the factory locker switch for free it would probably cost me less to go this route. I would like to be able to pair this with the mopar aux bank and have a nice oem look to it all, but if it doesn't work then I'll probably go with Lasfit.

Wiring the lockers direct is real easy, they only need 12V+ and a ground. I have mine wired to Aux #3 and #4 but just about any good switch will work great as they don’t draw a lot of power. Then you don’t have to fight with the Nanny that keeps telling you you can’t do that.

I just got a set of 392 Rubicon takeoff axles and he threw in the factory locker switch. I already have the factory wiring harness for the front and rear. Can the factory switch be used? I have a Tazer mini and the owner of the axles said I should just be able to flash it with the tazer to get the factory switch to work. Any help would be appreciated. Especially if I can save 2-300 bucks on the Voswitch or the Last Switch options. Thanks!
So I was told that there was way more involved with putting in the OEM locker switch that comes with the rubicons. There’s a wire harness and other bits that need to communicate with the Jeep to prevent it from activating and deactivating.

You can get a cheap Amazon special switch pad like I did for around $100! Rather then paying $600+ for a switch pro or what ever. All you need is power and a ground. It’s very simple to do it

Hmm.. Has anyone figured out how to use the Factory Rubicon Locker Switches, and just bypass the computer?

I like the BMW Socket that @my_0range_crush Recommended.. and may go with that.

Doesn’t seem possible without spending a ton of money. I have the lasfit switches that are located in the factory position. It has the same color red and looks OEM! It has a total of 4 buttons. 2 for the lockers and 2 additional buttons for either an air locker or what ever else you want to actuate. Plus a port to run a microphone for a GMRS radio!
