Did it require any drilling? And does it hide the pinch seam?
It bolts to the seam and to the body underneath. No drilling it uses factory holes the bottom ones have factory threaded inserts

nice - is the big main tube completely sealed off on both ends to prevent water and dirt from getting inside.

I like them but I know purists will mock them for reducing the clearance height while rock crawling!

I'm looking at these as well, and have been told to beware of clearance issues with off-roading.

I think they look great, and being a Jeep purist doesn't necessarily mean you are into rock crawling. Maybe you just like to get naked and drive on the beach, maybe you just like to explore the wilderness, maybe you like playing in the mud....
I personally like Rock Crawling, so these are a no go for me, but for those that aren't into that(Probably 95% of people) they are great!

I don’t even know where I could even go rock crawling. I bought mine to drive through high water, mud and beaches. I added the bars to protect the sides of my Jeep.

I agree! I may lose a little clearance but with the added 37” tires it’s probably a wash. Plus if they help my lady friends get into the Jeep easier it’s a win/win
