Do your steering stabilizers only work on lifted builds? Currently considering the single stabilizer.

I am using a single stabilizer now with larger tires only a no lift. It works very well and he keeps the truck Wanting to go straight. It is a very good modification I believe for people who have larger tires.

Reduce bump steer while improving control and handling with Rough Country’s Dual Steering Stabilizer for Jeep JL! This easy-to-install upgrade helps tame your larger aftermarket tires for a more pleasant driving experience both on and off-road.

Steering stabilizers are designed to restrain "bump steering" and front end vibration, giving added life to tires, ball joints, and other steering components and are highly recommended for vehicles running aftermarket tires. The durable 18mm chrome hardened piston rod and large-bodied cylinder dwarfs factory equipment, ensuring a more effective vibration damping each and every time you take to the trails.

Rough Country’s Dual Steering Stabilizer kit is easy to install, with a 100% bolt-on installation process that can be installed in a home garage with common tools.

Features
  • Easy bolt-on installation.
  • Improves control and handling.
  • Reduces tie rod and ball joint wear and tear.
  • Chrome hardened 9/16-inch piston rod
Notes
- IMPORTANT
  • 2.5” or bigger suspension lift required.
  • Does NOT fit stock height models.

My wife has this setup on hers. We really didn't need the dual setup, but our original one got damaged by a rock. I wasn't going to spend the money to put another one in the stock location.

The steering is firmer, it relocated the stabilizers over the tie rod where they are less likely to get damaged, and it looks cool :like:

That setup looks great. Did you paint the shocks?
