Had LOD sliders on my last Jeep, they were indestructible but this time around the wife wanted a drop down. I tried to tell her short girls could just hop in but she was not having any of that.

Can you go into some detail on this? "I did have one issue that they had a retro kit for that I installed"
After my sliders had been on for a couple of years I began to hear the step rattle when it was in the up position. I noticed the gap around the step wasn't the same when it was up. After speaking with RSE I guess they had an update to a couple of the pivot brackets inside the slider. The original ones had one bolt and a pin pressed in. Well the pin came loose and would eventually come out. The new bracket kit they sent has two bolts. My buddy had the same issue. After installing their kit they sent free of charge, they have been as good as new again.

These guys showed up on the forum recently (https://iagoffroad.com/iag-ez-step-add-on-1-pair-for-2018-jeep-wrangler-2-door/) and I bought the 2 door set for my 4 door, just to try them out. They hook to the factory rails and are bolted on using existing rail mounts.

I like that I can unbolt them for wheeling but take one along in the jeep to hang on the rail for my wife to get in and out.

Reasonably priced and made in MD/PA to boot.

I have the Goat Fabrication step sliders and love them. I left the Rubicon rails on, but you can take them off if desired.

Do you find you use these as a step getting in and out of the jeep? I am looking at this for my XR, so I have 35s and a slight lift (looks like you are on 33s?).

For the front seats, definitely. I have found myself always using them to get out, though at 6 foot I don't need them. My 5 foot 2 wife wouldn't want to go back to being without them. We ordered another pair of sliders for her JT as well, but I'm still waiting on them to arrive. It's been a month now, but I believe they make them to order.

For the back seat, they curve inward at the end and that is still partly over the door opening. So it works, but not as nice.

I also find it nice just to have a step that runs the length of the body. Good for reaching the middle of the windshield to clean it to access the roof for washing.

Currently I still have the stock 33' KO2s on the JLUR. I have 35" Micky Thompsons on order and they should arrive any day now. Lift in the future...
