With the base trim Land Cruiser 250 coming in at a mid-50k price - with rear locker, Crawl Control, heated seats and heated steering wheel, and MUCH BETTER RELIABILITY, why should a person consider a Rubicon UNLESS they intend to do some SERIOUS off-roading/rock crawling?

Get the land cruiser if you are debating between the 2

Our forums are way cooler than the Widdle Wadder forums, but if that's your kink, go for it

The only reason I bought a Wrangler (I've had a 4Runner, FJC, LR4) was the removable hard top to replace with an Ursa Minor. Having ground camped, in-vehicle camped, trailer camped and RV this setup is my all time favorite.

looks for me. I just don't like how the new LC looks. But if a person loved the looks and wanted a hybrid I would say go for it. But I would look at a Bronco if I were getting rid of my wrangler and if the trade in prices hadn't tanked I probably would but with current trade-ins I will keep my wrangler. I did look at the LC and they look really bad in person.

“Huh?” I think you forgot to add the laughing so hard you’re crying emoji.

Trail recon did video about this (traded in their jl for the lc). Looks like if you want to do real off-roading the better rig out of the box is the jeep. With mods the lc is a good alternative/replacement consideration but is far from better in every way.
