Hello all.
I am looking to wire 42W led flush mounts into my aftermarket bumper.
List of things I want it to do.
1) Lights come on when car is in reverse
2) Lights come on when I flip the switch
The issue I’m running into is not wanting to go into my dash and run wiring from the relay to the actual rocker switch in the cab.
The MLC6 just requires you to wire a positive and negative under the hood. Is there a way I can wire up to there without having to go into my dash and run to the 3 pin switch in the cab?
Or just I just wire up with a relay and diodes so they come on with my reverse lights (essentially removing me being able to control them with the switch. I honestly doubt I would ever need to.)
I’ve searched and found really find an answer with still just utilizing the power and ground from under the hood to the MLC6. Ultimately I’m trying not to remove my dash again. Thank you.

Okay so I added the Oracle Bumper lights. I added a switch to the dash (left side under headlamp control). Pull out the headlight switch was the extent of having to take the dash apart for me.

I ran two wires from the switch. The switch is a SPDT (Single Pole, Double Throw). From a tail light, I ran the pair of wires forward to the switch. One wire is tapped from the Reverse light harness, the other becomes the output of the switch. At the switch I also ran a wire from the "Aux wiring extra ignition wire" to the switch.

So the normal position, for me is "on side 1"... and the lights come on with the reverse light. Throw 2 is "on with ignition", and the middle position is "off", Think off-roading, I may not want to blind someone behind me as I backup.

Not sure this makes complete sense. The Amazon diode I have used on other projects, it generates a lot of heat, I skipped that here.
