The factory shocks will get replaced at some point (wear), but otherwise I don't plan to scrap the rest of the XR suspension. Looking at Bilsteins for a potential early shock replacement, not really thrilled with the red Mopars after having Bilsteins in my JK before I bought this.

Wheeling to the limit of the XR's capabilities is enough for me. After that it seems to get into inevitable rock/body contact and replacing parts until you basically own a buggy.
Exactly my thought. I just want to improve some up/down travel, not get a stiff ride.

I have done multiple suspensions/ budget boost to coil overs and always been on 37s. I was just curious what everyone was doing.

I typically buy a low option rubicon and rip everything out. I am tired of doing that and went with a fully optioned X w/ 35s but I always get the bug to mess with the rig.

I'm thinking of going with the 2" Synergy springs (I do not want much more height increase) to get maybe 0.5"-1" more height. I'm thinking of the FOX 2.5 (HTO or regular is fine) over the 5100s. I may not even have to change the driveshaft with this approach and still be able to keep my 35s or move to 37s,

That is a great combo and what I did on my '24 JLR-X, very happy with outcome. Also the Synergy springs are corner specific as are the factory springs and the Fox 2.5 HTO's work great with the Synergy springs and heavier 37" KO2 D's. Is yours a 2-door or 4-door?

I take it from your handle you were a fighter jockey?
