Exactly my thought. I just want to improve some up/down travel, not get a stiff ride. The factory shocks will get replaced at some point (wear), but otherwise I don't plan to scrap the rest of the XR suspension. Looking at Bilsteins for a potential early shock replacement, not really thrilled with the red Mopars after having Bilsteins in my JK before I bought this.
Wheeling to the limit of the XR's capabilities is enough for me. After that it seems to get into inevitable rock/body contact and replacing parts until you basically own a buggy.
I have done multiple suspensions/ budget boost to coil overs and always been on 37s. I was just curious what everyone was doing.
I typically buy a low option rubicon and rip everything out. I am tired of doing that and went with a fully optioned X w/ 35s but I always get the bug to mess with the rig.
