Remove Winch and Bumper Guard?

A lifted Jeep doesn’t need a winch. Only keep it if you plan on going wheeling. Otherwise sell it and use the money towards something else. I hate when people buy stuff just to have it and have no need/intention to use it for it’s purpose. It’s literally a waste of money.

Can you send me picture of what bumper looks like now without? Did you have to buy anything to fill gaps or holes?

The Mopar steel bumper comes with a plate that covers the opening where the winch mounts —see below.

My guess is your Jeep’s previous owner must have the plate sitting in the garage.

You can check eBay, Craigslist, and the classifies here, to see if someone is looking to get rid of their Jeep’s plate.

I'm not sure if any additional fasteners would be needed.

Am I shadowbanned or is quadratec? I linked the 3 covers you remove when installing the winch.
Only the front plastic cover is mandatory to avoid a bizarre look, but the steel top cover helps it look less silly. The plastic top cover is barely important.

Here is my steel bumper with no winch, it doesnt look all that bad, but does look unfinished. Not a great comparison, but maybe a general idea.
