Hello everyone. On my 22 Sahara with the cold package. I started to notice that on remote start and cold weather the seat warmer and heaters do not come on like it used to ! Anyone know what’s up ? The settings are check marked ( heated seats with remote start ). What else can it be ?
Thanks

Nope. Done with that bullshit.
How cold is it outside?
I think the remote start heaters/defrosters don't kick in until it is below 40*.

Or maybe you changed the setting/the got defaulted no to come on with remote start. And yes it needs to be below a particular temp before they activate

Temperature is probably it. My Jeep is garaged and the garage temp is like 42 all winter. Nothing comes on automatically. I'd personally prefer a switch I can turn on for the season instead of temperature dependent.

I don’t remember the temp threshold but you probably haven’t hit it this season yet. I was thinking the same thing when I used it a couple days ago. Cold seat and I was disappointed but temp was 42.

Temperature related. I'm currently in the heater only season, sit will come later as we drift more in winter

There's a switch to enable / disable it in Uconnect. Temperature-based seems to be the logical approach, otherwise it'd come on when it's not wanted.

I'll have to look for that. It's just that for months it'll be in the single digits outside but my garage is always just above 40. It's wanted, but the spoiled Jeep in the garage never realizes it.

Utah weather is weird. Jumps directly from summer to winter overnight so I have no problem flicking a switch in the Jeep the week the season changes.

Thats only part of what makes it come on. What's the outside temp thats being read by the Jeep? It has to be below 40 for the seat snd steering wheel heat to come on automatically.
