Oh thats a bummer, i love these dynatrac ones. Yeah they still take the camber sleeves, but they fit much better than in the aluminum, one was always high and one was always low, now they are dead even. And I didnt take any off the steering stops they were perfect for me
I talked to Reid and they said you could actually mill the stops off and tap them to accept the factory stops. I might actually do that, depending on how long they actually are. I had to back mine out about 1/8” to keep the rim from hitting the Rusty’s tie rods at full lock.

I've got a ball joint that I can wobble a bit when wheel off the ground. Started doing this in the past 2 weeks - probably didn't like being beaten up on Crawl Daddy last weekend.

Are the Dynatrack ball joints the way to go?

After spending $400 on the Dana and I probably have less than 500 miles on them I would definitely say spend the extra $200 and get the Dynatrac. I am regretting not doing that myself right now.

So on my trip to work this morning I hit all the sections of rough road that i knew would cause wheel feedback/shake. I had zero besides the bit of bumpsteer, but the wheel would move the direction of the bump then go back center no lingering effects like before. wandering is very minimal now as well, keep in mind im at like 4 degrees of caster and it is typically all over the road.

I went from gripping the steering wheel and constantly correcting to being able to just rest my hand on top of it. The tires now respond better to the slightest of steering wheel movements now instead of deciding when it wanted to. To me it drives better than stock now. Everyone else might have a different outcome than I do, my knuckles were not in good shape so keep that in mind. Its finally comfortable to drive.
Safe to say that once you (almost) replace everything mopar related in the front it drives fine ?

Why so low on your caster?

If i go any higher on caster i might s well weld a straight pipe from the axle to transfer case it will probably feel the same

That’s great to hear! I have hope these things can drive decent, once I get the knuckles the only thing left is the hub bearings and I would like that think they couldn’t have screwed that up! ?

Tell her you are recovering costs by selling the contents of your catch can to biodiesel makers. You should break even by 2135.
