regear speedo reading seems off?

I regeared today and have a questions on my speedo reading. I have a JLUR on 37” Nitto Ridge Grapplers, regeared to 4.88 today which I thought would bring my speedo reading pretty close to accurate. It’s reading 7 miles an hour under the actual speed, so at 60 MPH on the dash, my Ways app says I’m going 67. I’m a bit perplexed, I think it was reading 5 miles an hour under before the regear with 37’s?


Maybe this is an electronic thing, anybody else see similar readings after a regear?


The gears themselves are good, now seeing 8th on the freeway at cruising speeds.
