Reducing the "Glare" from the display screen.

Had an emergency problem with wife and (im balance plus nausea). At 530 Am, Had to call 911 to come and take her in. End result was I had to follow on to the emergency room several miles away. At that time of the morning, no one was out and our area has zero street lights.

I was half blinded my the brighteness of the console display and could not figure out how to dim it. Had to hold my hand up between the screen and my face to see where I was going.

How does one fix that................

Clare will not be reduced! Clare demands to be at full brightness 24-7! Clare is a bitch! Don’t mess with Clare.

Yes hold one hand up to shield your eyes from the Clare and use the other to look though your owners manual while steering with your knees.

Gorilla glass screen protector with trail dirt helps too. Yeah the screen off button, thank God!!! However the brightness can be adjusted.

You can also set the screen to enter "Dark" mode when the dimmer is utilized. "Dark" mode changes the white background to a black background.

rotating that know does zero/zip/nada as to changing the brightness of the screen

I've now discovered the (screen off) button but still don't know about any "dimming" of it.
