Recommendations for a good value Jeep-capable floor jack?

Everybody should get one of 2-ton trolly jack, very light, small, and easy to carry/transport around, one draw back is that it only has a short 5 - 13 inch lift. I assume the same Chinese manufacture that various sellers offer from around $30 and up with different paint colors and brand stickers. Very handy for light duty usage.

A couple trucks back, I found this cross beam accessory for a floor jack at Harbor Freight. It has adjustable height pads on each end. It can add quite a bit of extra height to the jack and is great for front, back or side jacking.

What max lift height do folks recommend for an unlifted JL Sport? I've seen 3 ton floor jacks with max lift heights of 18". Will that be too low? Thanks.

I have that jack for my Camaro. Very low profile to get under a low car. Not necessary for a Jeep or truck. I use my Harbor Freight bar on a 3 ton which gets the jack pads higher up closer to the frame.

I can vouch for the Harbor Freight floor jacks. They are fairly inexpensive and work well around the home shop.

Most floor jacks have the range to jack a Jeep if you're jacking the axle housing. The frame is a different story. Measure the ground clearance of the spot you think you'll want to jack. You'll need to lift that spot high enough to get the tires off the ground. Maybe another 6-8"???

I ended up going with a Pittsburgh low profile 3-ton with a 19 3/4" lift. The low profile was for wifey's car and the 20" lift was for the Jeep.

Good price indeed! I just paid $130 last week, and thought I stole it.
I’m tempted to buy another. In fact, I think I will.
I reckon I need to run a poll to help me pick which color best compliments my green one first, though.

Funny, went to buy one orange and one green, the store manager said he had never seen a colored jack but the adds showed it. Saw one at the Memorial Day sale

I just got a 3.5t duralast gold from autozone for $219, has like 31 or 33 inch lift
probably not the best, but probably the best deal
