My rear arms to hold the rear window open were broke from the factory.

This week I had them fixed, but I just wanted to post my experience on here for others.

I know others said they had to have thier whole rear window replaced causexthe arms don’t come off. But that isn’t true. They switched out both arms in 3 minutes. There r 2 clips that hold them onto the bracket welded to the window.

I know others might know this but when I researched it I kept coming up with searches that people said the whole rear window had to be replaced.

Hope this helps someone down the road.

You mean the struts? Yea there's a little metal clip on the end that once removed lets the end come right off.

Yes. Sorry. I couldn’t think of the right word. My bad!

They are the same design of every vehicle for the last 30 years that has struts on the hood or trunk. Glad they got you taken care of, but I’m not sure where the idea that they don’t come off would come from.
