Damn, why didn't I think of this..... that is a great permanent fix for sure........ Maybe I can get the dealership to do it under warranty........... LOLI think I found a permanent fix. Drilling the hole in the lid is only a temporary fix as the issue will return. What we need to do is drill a hole in the BOTTOM of the washer fluid reservoir, something like a 1/4" bit should do the trick. Once that reservoir is completely empty, you should no longer see any leakage or drips on the rear window.
DISCLAIMER: That was a complete joke and I really am hoping a permanent fix is on the way soon. DO NOT drill a hole in the bottom of your washer fluid reservoir, or anywhere else for that matter, based on the advice in this post.
