Rear Spare Tire Plastic Drip Tray

Has anyone that’s purchased a 2021 JL have it come standard with a rear spare tire plastic drip tray like the one pictured? Just curious.

That's interesting. My '21 JLR didn't have that. I also don't have painted fenders, which might have something to do with it.

The pictures are from a 2021 High Altitude demo. In it, the salesman says that this has come standard for the last few years. I've yet to see one with it though. We ordered an HA and curious to see if it comes equipped with the plastic tray.

I have a guess why thats there. My 16’ JK Willys (waiting for my JLR0 has the painted bumper insert. After I rotate my spare the brakes dust/road grime/etc will run off the tire and on to my painted pumper causing it to stain. It’s hard to get off too. If that’s the case it seems pretty clever

Yes in the video the salesman says the exact same thing about stained bumpers. I'll wait and see if it comes standard with our new HA

No such fitment on my 2021 Sport. I was fortunate that a steering wheel and tires were included on that trim level.

Reminds me of the time I went to another town to look at an advertised Jeep (really low price). Got there and the salesman said "We have one out back..." Turned out the low-priced model came with a driver (only) seat, no top, no spare, no radio, no floor coverings, etc... The only things it had were what were REQUIRED to be street-legal. Went back in and told salesman and manager I didn't appreciate the bait-and-switch type tactics and took my business elsewhere.

Well done for calling the dealer out on their nonsense.

Carpeting and the small rear bench seat were actually options when I purchased my 1995 YJ new. They were installed on the vehicle, whereas A/C and a radio were not. I chose that Wrangler from lot inventory, so I had already made peace with how it was built.

Mine came with it but took it off to accommodate the 35" spare. I have a few of the stains on the bumper and they are a bitch to get off! Anyone with the same issue has a solution to clean of the stains?

Not on my 2021 Sport S JLU. No painted bumpers though.
