I'll be the first to admit that I'm pretty light footed, typically 5 miles over limit. Commute is about 12 miles highway each way no real traffic or stop and go very often around here. Last tank I filled up was 25 mpg based on mileage between fills and what it took to fill the tank.
My last verhicle before my 2021 JLU was a 2013 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Awesome SUV. This is going to sound silly but I started looking at new GC earlier in the spring and Jeep didn't have green as an option anymore (i've had green vehicles since my 1998 TJ) so just for giggles I started looking...
As a part of dealer prep our dealer flushed the air out and properly inflated with nitrogen. I'm thinking it was halfway a CS gimmick and halfway to correct the factory overcharge.
There is a thread in these forums about the back-up line issue. Some people have reached out to JeepCares and opened cases with them to try and get expedited. I just waited and one day it was there.
As for the back up lines, I picked my JLU up in May and they did the same random disappearing act. It is a UConnect software issue that you should get an update for. Mine OTA updated about 2.5 weeks ago and my lines have been back without fail since then (knock on wood).
Just got a 2021 JLU last week with the SOT and I am loving it. I like the suggestion about getting a lighter shade HotHead liner to brighten up the interior. My SOT panel is black and after having it open it is definitely a "downer" when that black top comes forward and cuts off the ambient light.
Glad I found this forum and thread before I called the dealer. I had this happen a couple of times on my week old 2021 JL and it really confused me. Sounds like having the dealer mess with it never ends well and that waiting for the promised software update is the right call.
