Rear parking sensor issue

Hey guys,
I noticed that my sensor do not detect movements. they suppose to alert you when a car or person is walking behind. But nothing. Does any of you have the same issue? Id like to know any experience before dealing with service.

Yeah, it’s two separate packages. I intentionally didn’t get the rear sensor/blind spot monitoring but opted for the adaptive cruise control.

I have it and it works. I think there is a speed or size threshold that needs to be met for it to work.

Try this out before going to the dealer. Find a parking lot with a spot that’s close and perpendicular to a street. The street traffic should set off the sensor while you’re backing up. This scenario sets mine off 100% of the time.

Keep in mind that the tail lights which house the sensors have to be sticking out beyond the vehicles beside you.

yup, looked it up, should be in the safety package.

So according to my dealer my 2021 willys safety group doesnt include rear cross path detection.
Everywhere I looked the safety group included that. Is the cross path detection included or not? my build date is nov 2020. attaching my window sticker

I think it comes with the Blind spot monitoring which yours does not have that I can see.

called jeep and they say it is equipped. but it is not on the sticker. my 2020 rubicon has it under safety package on the sticker
