Hello everyone, i recently replaced rotors all 4 corners, bought a new caliper and caliper bracket on my rear driver side because it was making noise and thought it would solve the problem. However after installing the new caliper 68385237AB and caliper bracket 68385235AA, the bracket is touching the back of rotor. My mechanic said the dealership gave me the passenger side brackinstead but I find it hard to believe. My question are

1. How to distinguish between driver bracket vs passenger side bracket

2. Could there be other reason causing the touching? Rotor size should be correct because all other 3 corners have no issues at all

I have a 2019 wrangler JL unlimited sports S

first image I attached is the rear driver side bracket touching the rotor

second image is the mechanic putting the same bracket to the passenger side and it fits perfectly not touching the rotor.

thanks in advance

Per rockauto.com, rear brackets carry different Mopar part numbers for left vs right. Fronts are same side to side.

The part number you list is for the left side, again per Mopar via rock Auto. I'm guessing is got mis-packaged.

Leave it to Jeep to make the mounting points slightly different !
