The rear arm brackets should be identical, JK and JL can interchange rear control arms.

The front may or may not work.

Ohh ok cool... you 100% sure about that?.. if that is true then I will buy the rear ones and return the other Brackets I bought from Artec and CavFab...

Yes, the rears are same, I can vouch for that. If you go on any major suspension manufactuer websites like synergy, metalcloak, etc., you will find their offering of rear control arms often say JK/JL, means they are interchangable. The front is different, but I suspect the brackets can still work.

Thanks for the reply message.. I find it weird that I asked Synergy and Artec and they said they do not make stock brackets for the JL model (Dana 44) ... I recently asked another forum member who installed JL axles from a Sahara to a JKU .. and he said that besides the shock mounts not being located the same way (he relocated the brackets) the rest of the install went OK... although he didn't exactly measure bracket angles, the width of the brackets, or height of the bolts with respect to the axle surface.. and I also find it weird that the Mopar Catalog shows those brackets you mentioned for the JK only.. are the Dana 44s on the JK the same diameter as the JL ? ( 3.15 inches)

Well, when you weld these new brackets on, they do not need to be at the exact same location as OEM, of course they have to clear differential covers, vent tubes, lines, and such. But I know a lot of people choose to have different degree of separation so they can gain caster and reduce pinion angle, the stock degree of separation for the front is 6 degree, means when the differential is perpendicular to the ground (90 degree), you will have a 6 degree of caster. Now if you weld the bracket lower, you can have say 8 degree of separation, means if nothing changes and you are still using stock control arms, you will have 8 degree of caster. Your goal is to have higher caster so your car does not drive like a shopping cart, while have lower pinion angle so your driveshaft is not twisted.

Really, these brackets are just a way to connect axle and frame, and fix them at a relative geometry. They are basically U-shaped bent steel, so your control arm joints can fit in. I don't see anything in the rear that is super complicated. The front axle on JL is a very very different setup comparing to JK, I suspect the tube diameter may still be the same, but because of the addition of FDA, and upper control arm joints are actually on the axle, not in the control arms.
