So it turns out that Sport models get a rear D35 "next generation" axle. Didn't realize that until I got the Jeep home. Was there an update in this thread? I didn't see one. Does anybody have the specs and info on this new D35? Will it hold up to 33s?

Thanks Jay! Any chance you can dig up diff cover pics of each for those looking to visually confirm included on Jeep while shopping on lot?

Unless it changed, the Sport gets upgraded to a d44 when you include the anti-spin diff. At least that's what my window sticker says.

According to my build sheet this correct M186 front - M220 rear with the anti spin diff

Does anyone know if there’s a schematic diagram for the m186 and m200 available yet?

I ordered a 2019 Sport S without anti slip.

My build sheet says "Dana M220 Rear Axle" and my window sticker says "3rd Generation Dana® 44 HD Rear Axle".

Pretty happy about this unannounced change.

EDIT: After looking at a bunch of '19 build sheets it looks like M220 is standard now but gets replaced with M200 when ordering automatic transmission and not having the anti slip package

Where on the Windows Sticker does it mention the axles?

I've got a 2018 JLU w/the Anti-Spin Differential, as well as the Trailer Tow package.

I'm assuming I have a Dana 30 Front w/a D44 Rear.

M186 owners

Who is running a locker on a m186?

Ive seen the torque(lunchbox) locker but thats not an option for me, anybody install a ARB yet? Im sure eaton will come out with an option soon.

Im happy on 35s with my sport m186/m220 and regeared to 4.56.

I ordered a artec truss for the m186 as a little insurance but it’s relatively cheap.

Is it worth putting anymore money into the front axle for the future (37s) you see the jks with dana 30 with gussets truss sleeves shafts and re geared and locked running 37s

Are sleeves even an option with the FAD?
