Rubicon, Rock Rails + side steps?

Can you attach side steps to a Rubicon, and leave the rock rails installed?

I hate the MOPAR side step offerings. Does anyone know who makes some that look decent and are durable?

ACE Engineering has their slides already built and still keep the rock rails installed.

Their first on my list - plan to head to Moab in April so that, winch and see about underbody protection.

Yeah. 3 bolts on either side. Takes maybe 10 min per side.

that's great! thanks for the tip @wired ! I'll call Monday morning.

The bolts are on the underside of the chassis. You’ll see 3 large washers held in place by a bolt. Unscrew the bolt and match up the brackets on the slider and then screw the bolts back in. I used a large bucket to rest the slider on to keep it in place until I got a couple bolts on and could tighten it up.

Can someone post a pic of these installed on their Rubi when they come in? Photos on a website can make anything look good but real life photos tell the true story And is anyone gonna have these covered or painted? not just powder coated?
