Ratcheting/clicking Sound, Front

Hey everyone, recently had Synergy HD ball joints installed. Shortly thereafter I'm hearing a ratcheting/clicking sound from the front end. Very noticeable driving slow with windows down, does not increase or decrease when turning the wheels. My initial thought is that the ball joint castle nuts need to be re-torqued because from what I've read here and elsewhere the factory spec isn't tight enough. Thoughts? Thanks!!

Did you check the torque ? Top should be 37 ftlbs and lower is 74 ftlbs…. according to synergy instructions……

@Roky yes and they were not far off, like maybe a 1/8 turn but I'm still hearing it. Maybe give em a little more, but wanted to see if there was anything else I could check. Thank you!

Yeah, I’m assuming you have the aluminum knuckles, the torque spec’d might not be enough to get them tight…

Forgot to post an update on this.... ended up tightening the castle nuts one more “notch”. For kicks n giggles I had my mechanic double check everything and now all is good! The Jeep feels solid, and after about 200 miles or so of breaking them in, the benefit of having HD ball joints is much more noticeable.
