RANGE QUESTION

Hello, fellow diesel owners

when you fill up full tank what does it say on the range ?
i recall when i first brought it home , it was full tank it was over 400~ of range
a year later , an i hope im not losing my mind here, on a full tank with Shell, i get about 360 ish maybe a few more miles
i have no idea what changed, because the window sticker also had something like 400 something range on a full tank, am i tripping here ?

Same for me at times and other times over 400.
I'm at 30,000 miles 35's no lift averaging roughly 25mpg overall
I'm happy so far
Haven't had HPFP replaced yet. Use hot shots per fill up
No tune, no pedal monster, no tazer

My 2022 used to say +400 miles when filled in early 2023. Now it shows around 350 when filled. Yesterday on fill-up it showed 344.

I'm pretty sure it uses the "ave MPG" when it computes the estimated range. If you reset the "ave MPG" at fill up, then drive relatively slow (ie no freeway) for 10-20 miles, the range will increase to back around 400 miles. The most I've ever seen on screen was a 425 mile range. I'm sure others have seen even longer range

Agreed ?
Mine is usually always above 360-380 or 400+
Will check next fill up

I do the same and believe it's why I see higher 380-400+ every time

Mine also says around 525-540 after fillup but its a base wrangler with the factory Michelin 31" tires.

Yep. Its a base wrangler manual everything( locks, windows, etc) with factory Michelin 31" highway tires. 100% stock. Fun to drive.

That was bone stock in my Gladiator eco. I’d be willing to bet I could’ve gotten 600 on a straight highway drive. It’s too bad we only got 19 gallon tanks ?‍
