I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. 142,000 mi. I LOVE this Jeep...however....the random over heating is making me crazy. This Jeep has been in the shop numerous times for the same issue. Time to change mechanics I guess because he can't seem to find/fix it. He's changed radiator caps, thermostats, water pumps (several times), purged for supposid air bubble, claimed blown head gasket and changed...anyone else have this issue? Im frustrated.

There's a chance that someone here might be and to help, but you'll probably have better luck on a forum dedicated to your Wrangler. This one focuses on JLs.

...and you'll need to specify which engine you're talking about. Hard to diagnose without knowing this important detail first.

Was there something other than the 3.6 available in the US back then? I thought that was it.

It may be time for a new radiator. There are at least 2 "wetting" agents in your local auto parts store that help with cooling. Finally, you may have an "old style" fan clutch. You didn't mention that. At your mileage, it definitely needs to be changed. Approximately $60 part.

Also, make sure there isn't anything blocking air flow.

Does every Wrangler engine have an overheating issue?
