Wondering which of the three holes to choose from on the brackets? I got a little less than 2.5" of lift on the front of my JLU Rubicon and I am running the Mopar lift LCA's.

I see some folks running the Mopar lift (with the same longer LCA's) chose the center hole.

Anyone have any experience with these brackets?

I don't have the Rancho brackets but I do have the Metalcloak Geometry Correction brackets. The bracket holes are designed to set caster on a vehicle that has stock arms (non-adjustable). Each hole will slightly increase caster settings as you move down. If you have adjustable control arms it's not as important because you can set caster by adjusting the arms. You want your caster to be about 6 degrees. I run mine in the middle hole with 6 degrees and it drives great. I would start in the middle and check your caster. Then make any further adjustments from there.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately I don't have adjustable control arms - but am using the longer arms that come in the Mopar 2" lift. I am pretty sure the answer lies with either the middle of top hole.

Sorry to dig up an old thread. I'm in the same situation you were in using the LCAs from the 2" lift on a Rubicon and have the Metalcloak brackets ordered. Which hole did you end up using?

I actually never got around to ordering a set of brackets. Instead I decided also that I am going to run adjustable control arms once I can find a deal on a set (uppers + lowers) and then re-evaluate the need for brackets based on how the vehicle handles.

That makes good sense. I'm half afraid that trying to spend less with brackets may end up costing more in the long run. This may be one of those better to buy once, cry once things. My geometry isn’t off much yet, I am mostly looking for a little more caster.

I’m running a set of the MC correction brackets w/ adjustable Clayton Arms too. It also helps flatten out the angles, which in theory makes for a smoother ride. I’m on the lowest hole.

From conversation with MC - correction brackets have no advantage on lifts below 3.5" Of course castor is corrected by adjustable control arms.

I ran the brackets on a mopar lift with extended arms. Castor was pushed to far to 7.1 degrees. Now going to try factory length LCAs. Should I first UCAs on the middle hole, or leave them in the top hole?

My initial caster with extended arms alone was 5.5 but jeep still wandered at high speeds. 7.1 is super stable but steering is too heavy. I think 6.3-6.5 is the sweet spot.

I feel leaving the UCAs in the top and switching to factory length arms might just drop me back to the 5s where I started from. Has anyone tried factory length LCAs, and UCAs in the middle on a mopar lift?
