Radio Random Issues since last upadte

Since the last uConnect Radio update of last August (ver MY24.U37.23-PROD), my radio is acting up a few times a month, per attached video.

It generally clear on the next ride, or if I remove the Radio Fuse to reset the radio.

Note that it also been trying to upgrade my maps since then also.

I’m I the only one with this issue ?

I've had that happen once earlier this week, but after stopping and having it off while in grocery store it went away. Super weird, hard reset did not change it either.

That's been happening a lot to me since the last update. Sometimes i get a strange and loud buzzing noise in the radio for 20 seconds before it restarts itself. But I've had that same experience you showed a lot. Hasn't happened the last couple of days, knock on wood.

Yep, the same thing is happening to my 24 JLR. It comes and goes at random times and occurs on startup (and at the most inconvenient times!). Sometimes it goes for several days without happening. I have tried all the resets that I know of and nothing fixes it. Will be bringing it to the dealer soon.

Edit to add: It also seems to be sometimes triggered by the backup camera being activated at startup, causing the unit to reboot and the backup camera screen goes black.

Same here, it happens when I would need the radio for the maps, change the temperature, etc…

I went to the dealer this week for the multiple warnings that I had last week and for the radio issue… Luckily the radio acted up when the technician was working on my Jeep.

Since he did not have any newer software version available, they ordered a replacement radio.

FWIW, since I last posted on this thread, 10 days ago, I have gone into the settings and deleted the 2 other "users" that were on there. I got my Jeep used, so I don't know if those users are standard setup or not.

Since I made that change, my unit boots quickly and works normally. I hope that I didn't jinx myself.

I have an appointment on Monday to have my radio replaced… We will see how it goes.

They replaced my radio yesterday.

I did not have all the gauges on the offroad page, they came back today.

I have a 4xE and I still don’t have the Hybrid 4xE pages.

For those that had their radio replaced, how long did it take for everything to cone back ?
