Anyone using their satellite radio in a new JLU (mine's a '21)? My radio goes cuts in and out. Sometimes, it cuts out for as long as 15-20 seconds before it comes back on but often it's only a couple seconds. My FM radio works just fine. Brand new, I took it to the dealer and they said the internal antenna located in the A-pillar on the passenger side. Made an appt and they replaced it. No change. Next appointment they replaced the entire radio. No change. They are out of ideas. They said it might be my location, but my previous vehicles' SiriusXM radio worked flawlessly, while I lived at the same location. Any thoughts? My next option is just to get rid of the satellite radio and save the money. Thanks!

Mine does the same. Never gave it much thought though because SXM is just too expensive. Much easier to stream from my phone. Although that is only marginally better. When I'm streaming music and a text message comes in the head unit ( 5" model ) shits itself and I have to disconnect my phone and switch to FM before I can start streaming again.

The radio will cut out depending on a clear signal from the satellite. Park under an overpass for a second, and it will probably cut out. Same thing in hilly/mountain areas. Perfectly normal. I love mine. Just don't want the incessant comercials on AM/FM.

I totally understand that, but it never happened on two previous vehicles in the same location.

Thanks. I'm going to cancel sat radio. I don't have those other issues you mentioned however.
