I haven't seen these posted here, figured I would toss the idea out there. I ran a ground wire to the usual spot just forward and below the passenger door hinge, then used the accessory and ignition. Currently only running my dash cam, but using these connectors provides expansion and options. I'm aware of the amperage limits and plan to run 6 or 8 AWG to a relay/terminal panel I'll mount behind the glove box in the near future, as the relays will be able to handle any potential higher loads in the cabin.

I have a similar setup.. DT connectors for quicker connect/disconnect, and a ground wire common. ?

Cool idea! I've seen these lever-nuts before but for some reason I never thought to use them for this purpose. I think I might just have to go pick some up now!

Just be very cautious... the ratings are usually really low on these types of connectors. I have read a few times they are not recommended, this is most likely why you don't see it more.

Fair point, I did consider loads when I chose these - UL listed for 250V @ 30 amps. My guess is the 20AWG will be the weak point for this use case, not the connectors. These have a wide and flat connection internally (lots of contact area), while some have a very thin connection that would be less than ideal.

I have used them in home lighting before... when switching out standard fluorescent shop bulbs for LEDs... they worked great... I'm sure they will work out just fine for you.

I keep some of these in my electrical stuff for road/ trail side repair. I would only use them as a temporary emergency fix on a vehicle.

I like Wago products, use them often in residential wiring. They work great, but for the most part I'd agree, most automotive uses would be temporary. I don't mind using these style connections in the cabin, tucked up high....but lack of water resistance definitely makes them a trail repair anywhere else on the vehicle.
