Rock throwing KO2’s was a joke…..Nah, weren’t KO2’s, but I knew that tractor was going to have issues when it was delivered. The battery box was between the rear frame rails, rather than a stepbox, so the “Pogo Stick” was so far aft, that I couldn’t cover the lead drive axle with the trailer.
Yep, I was right, it took out three rear windows in the 4 years I had that tractor, surprised it wasn’t more.
I swear, the people spec’ing the trucks had never driven one, Marc’s tractor had the Chain hanger on the Driver’s side, and the DEF tank on the passenger side.
I have seen exactly ONE truck stop since they started requiring DEF, that had a satellite DEF hose, every other truck stop has Only had a DEF hose on the Driver’s side. And Of Course, when pulling chains off the hanger, or putting them back on, you really Want to be on the Traffic side of the tractor, in ICY conditions

Couldn’t an aluminum headache rack type something be used to protect the window ?
Yeah— even one vehicle I had with the gas cap on the passenger side was a PITA.
