The JL model has been out for some time, and while there are many mods and products available for them, I can't be the only person who finds themselves wishing someone offered a product to suit a specific look, need or purpose. To this end, I would like to propose this as a master thread for all of the items you wish existed. If we're lucky, maybe someone has found what you're looking for and could point you in the right direction. Or, an enterprising forum member may find inspiration to fire up their 3D printer, CNC machine or exercise their creative know-how to fill a niche. This might be a good thread for forum affiliates to track as well if they are interested in consumer demand (bonus points for allowing the individual who suggests the product the ability to test said product).
A few on my wishlist:
For me, this seems like a big miss for Jeep. It would have been so easy to make these MOLLE/PALS compatible, and yet they decided to keep it a useless cosmetic feature. I wish someone would mold a replacement functional trim panel or, barring that, a bracket or clip that would allow you to mount bags, tools, tables, etc. to the interior tailgate without having to drill or modify it.
This style of tubular slider is very popular, and yet they could be better. I can't help but wonder why they don't add some industrial, spring-loaded hinges to the slider that would allow it to fold down to the horizontal when you step on it, then tuck back up against the body of the jeep when you're not using it.
