My Sahara 2019 presents messages of need for service in 4W after already running with the 4x4 on the offroad and at times fails to accuse the 4x4. At other times unscrew the 4x4 and step to the 4x2 and yet the 4x4 remains engaged and with the message on the panel of "Serv 4W". The concessionaire here in Brazil has not yet been able to identify the cause. Can anyone give any indication of what might be going on?

Check to make sure your FAD connector is all the way on and that you don't have any bent pins.

When I'm in 4x4 Auto the panel displays the message and from then on I can't engage the 4x4 Part Time and neither low.

It stands for "Front Axle Disconnect".

There is a motor on the front axle tube, on the passenger side.

You'll see a connector coming off of the back of it.

Check this connector.

Thank you. I'm going to the dealership tomorrow.

The aforementioned problem had already existed and the concessionaire had changed the small engine located externally in the transfer box as a solution. On last week's Off Road ride, the first after the change of the aforementioned engine, the problem came to repeat itself. Today the connector pins have been checked and they are in perfect condition.

Attachment, forwards photo of the dealer's scanner record. This problem presents itself intermittently. What could be another factor as a cause of the problem?

They're in the right neighborhood but it could be something else beside the transfer box motor. The error code is a short circuit detection which can be difficult to track down, especially if it's intermittent. Keep taking it back. They should get it eventually.

you have a bad connection or shorted. did you happen to do some deep water crossings before this happened the every first time? could have gotten water in a connection point and shorted the circuit. all those codes go back to the same module

I did not make any crossing in water that drowned the stirrups of the vehicle.

Bad connection at the transfer case or bad transfer case shift motor. This is why people pass on the full time 4WD.
