Yeah, the northeast is a tough place to get a good deal on any vehicle right now, let alone a wrangler. I drove my 2021 Jeep off the dealer’s lot back on 6/21/21 at 6:21pm (yes, really)…. And I’m glad I did because since then, prices have skyrocketed. Hindsight being 20/20, I absolutely bought at the last, right time, and was able to squeeze out a very good deal. Nowadays… no way, at least not around here.

Search the forum and you will find under-invoice dealers, though. Especially if you don’t mind a little day-trip with your new Jeep.

I know a lot of people go south, but a i've seen on a few threads that one or two dealers won't give you the finance rate until you get there to pick up the Jeep. I dunno, that just doesn't seem legal.
Good luck tomorrow. Let us know how you make out.
They couldn’t possibly lock a rate for you on financing from order to delivery. That’s not how the auto loan market works. Home mortgages are different because of how they are funded in the capital markets.

Yes you’re right. I forgot about that. I usually don’t finance With dealers so forgot.

Even a bank or credit union isn’t likely to lock you for that long.

90 days was my rate. I got it right after order was shipped and locked it in.

Just FYI, our 3 local'est Midwest dealers STILL don't have any Wranglers on their lots. Haven't since before April '21 when I ordered my first one.

Last I asked, MSRP on all orders.

Still debating on sky one touch too. Convenience with kids is nice but think I may miss a true hardtop in winters here
The SOT is really awesome. Had to switch between "sun mode" and "rain mode" five or six times on this weekend's trip to the Telluride area. Just have to slow down below 60.

And, of course, check the spreadsheet in my sig for under-invoice pricing.

@dabial I would see what deal you can land first but if you are possibly thinking on going aftermarket on wheels and maybe hardtop, if manual is not a must then I would consider adding XR package and getting the upgraded wheels, lift and brakes etc by only adding a bit to your price once you remove the other items
Personally I went dual top over the sky one touch simply cause I go hardtop winter, topless summer, and softop for spring and fall weather but it’s a choice that you’ll need to decide on based on what you prefer and weather in your location etc

Manual for me is a must otherwise totally agree. Yes I feel like I would miss the pure hard top in the heart of winter

The manual is fun, regardless of all the crazies saying it sucks. I loved it in my 2020 Rubi. They just don't know how to have fun! I would have it in my diesel right now if they had one strong enough to deal with the torque.

The manual is definitely more fun. The clutch is a little finicky and there have been some issues but it’s definitely a better driving experience fun wise. I did test drive an auto and takeoff was great though. Better than the manual.

Right now this is the dealer in Raynham MA that’s on the approved dealer list here about 2 hours from me hopeful they step up when he calls tomorrow

then unload my 2019…
I’m on the fence trading in my 2018 as well so I’m curious if they’ll do better.

My 2019 has it, felt with the recall issue. All good other than that

Agree on the manual and don't worry about the soft top in the winter, especially with the cold weather group. I didn't realize how great heated seats are until last winter when I did without.
