Looks like the issue is partly due to Jeep removing the drip rail channel from the sides of the front windshield frame. My CJ7 has drip rails (gutters) built into the windshield frame in that location, running down either side of the frame. Older cars often had gutters surrounding the entire upper door frame, like my 65 Mustang. Probably were removed to reduce air drag and noise, but the result is more issues with water? Please tell me what car you can take to the car wash, flood the top and drip rails with water, open the doors instantly and not get water dripping inside. Complete non-issue.
