I have been to the dealer on a couple occasions to have my steering box replaced with the steel offering. I was told both times that they might not cover it due to my lift and other suspension components. I believed that my issue has been there since purchasing the vehicle. I re-routed the wiring for my winch and decided to check under the hood. I noticed my power steering fluid reservoir was at the MIN mark and i followed the lines to the Gearbox where i noticed that they were leaking onto the top of the box.
I would get the work done, but the dealer wants to hold my vehicle and they never have a Loaner
I have a case with @JeepCares in regards to too much play in the steering, but this issue i just noticed today. Would this further warrant a gearbox replacement?
