What off the shelf power steering fluid is compatible with the Mopar fluid for the JL?

I'm in Moab and am not sure I can find Mopar fluid.

I found on Red Line´s web site that theirs meets the Mopar spec. It was $14 for a full quart. Found it at O´Reilly.

Initial inspection after the day on the trail shows no leak. I´ll get a better look in the morning.

I´m thinking it was drips from an application of Fluid Film awhile back. Not enough to drip on the ground. Time will tell. That power steering system is going to get a workout each day this week.

I only use Pentosin fluids for Brake/Manual 6SP and P/S. Can be purchased at parts store...

I do and I couldn´t do Amazon because I was in Moab. The Red LIne is compatible. After driving trails and then the long run home, It appears there was no leak. Now that I am home, I have the Mopar fluid. So I get my $16 back when I take back the Redline.

The bad news is that the JL had major electrical issues that turned into the dreaded transmission overheat and limp home mode. So I had to leave it at a Jeep dealership in Limon, Colorado. Hopefully Monday they´ll figure it out. I´ll then have to figure out how to get it home. That´s a whole other story that is just beginning to unfold, unfortunately.

Check your book on the glove compartment as I needed some about 6 months ago and it said I needed the Electric power one. My son has a 23 Sahara and he didn’t

Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS) is standard on all JLs.
