Hey, 2018 JL front power supply is dead, fuses checked, replaced, double checked and removed panel to check wires is there something else I can check ? Outer ring illuminates at night if that helps.

Hi and yes I’m stumped it’s killing me. It’s my wife’s jeep no electrical accessories installed and dead behind the panel.

It's just the 12-volt outlet that's dead, correct?

The 12v outlet is dead when you remote start the vehicle until you power it up normally, I wonder if it has anything to do with that ?

I don't know why a remote start would have anything to do with the 12 volt outlet. I understand you may have to wait a few minutes for everything power up.

Looking online at a few different things JL wrangler specific:

A 12-volt outlet may stop working due to a blown-out fuse, damaged wiring in the outlet, the outlet itself malfunctioning, alternator problem and/or auxiliary battery failure.
Check the 20 Amp fuse in the M6 fuse position in the fuse box under the hood.
Check for battery voltage at the fused B (+) circuit cavity of the power outlet wire harness connector. If OK, replace the faulty power outlet receptacle. If not OK, repair the open fused B (+) circuit to the Power Distribution Center fuse as required.
If the 12v outlet cover has a picture of a key on it, that outlet only works with key on. If a 12v outlet cover has a picture of a battery on it, that outlet works all the time.

I have my GPS plugging into mine, the GPS doesn't power up on a remote start. My continued observation. It's actually one of the ways that I remember that the start button needs to be hit.

Yes today I removed my panel with power supply out of my jeep and put it in hers and still mine will not work I hers, reinstalled it back into my jeep and works fine as well as hers works in my jeep. I get nothing when I test the volts… driving me crazy she never had anything ever plugged into it till I tried plugging a dash cam in her jeep and plugged it in to let it start up and never once got power, again the dash camera worked in my jeep.
