Anyone figure out if the brakes are any different than a regular Rubicon? I will say the brakes seem really strong on my wife’s XR, but maybe my brakes with the 37s and 28k miles are tired?

They did mention upgraded brakes with the package. And I see this on my build sheet:

Finally was able to pick up my JLURXR on Friday from Koons in Virginia! Flew down from JFK, took an Uber to the dealer and was on the road back to NY in 90 minutes. Absolutely LOVE it. Biggest issue I had was the air pressure and the fact the factory had a robot put on the valve caps , needed pliers to unscrew all 5 of them. Dropped pressure to 36 for the eventual 7 hour drive in pouring rain, just dropped the pressure to 34 yesterday and drove much better, not bouncing around now. Will see it is over the new few hundred miles. Turned over 500 miles today, not even 2 days old.

Wife got to drive it yesterday and loves it more than my 2019. This feels so much higher than the 2-3" that it is. Loving the Snazzberry! Now need to get this offroad!

I have a question that I hope someone can answer for me. My last 2 Jeeps I got dual tops, this one I got the soft top because I have the hard top from my 2019. The problem is this Jeep doesn't have the rear wiper controls on the stalk and is also missing the connections in the back for the top! Are these easily added? Is this normal for Jeep not to include them? The rear defroster is on the dash, soft tops don't have that option. lol

first post, first rubicon and thanks for the add. Put deposit down on 2021 rubi, pennastar, 850 trans, led lights..etc with extreme package 10/01 received estimated ship date last friday for 11/10.

#1 is paying FWP/Invoice in the ball park in todays market.

#2 is there such a thing as buying to much jeep. Was originally looking for a newer used sahara in my area..oregon and as all have seen was a little amazed at the prices of $50,000+/_. For $10,000 + more i can get a new rubicon. Not going to moab..just a daily driver and forest roads and cascade lakes around my area. Thoughts??

Thanks for the link. Had no idea it will take upwards of $500 to get everything working with the hard top! I am kicking myself for not getting the hard top this time. Might end up selling my hard top and sticking with the soft top going forward. decisions...

Getting excited that the wait may “soon” be over. Ordered on Aug 20 and recieved sticker notification today. Now more waiting for transport, but seems like a light at the end if the tunnel!

Well my shipping date ETA has changed from 11/1-11/08 to 11/4-11/18. So awesome, love that it takes 2 weeks for the jeep to leave the plant.

It is pretty ridiculous. At least you have an ETA. Mine has been sitting at the train yard since 10/15 and still no ETA. My Dealer told me it generally takes 30 days to get to him after it’s been released from the plant but at this rate, I won’t see it until December and I ordered (392XR-789434) it in June!

Thats horrible. I really wish they had a better system of making jeeps in the order they received them. If I made 2 exact same orders 1 day apart, theres no reason they should be delivered at different times. People who ordered in september, already got their jeep and then theres people in your situation who are still waiting.

It's here! It's here! It's finally here! Ordered on 7/30 and picked it up this afternoon. I even completed my first mod, putting pedal extenders on so my daughter, who is 4'9" tall, can drive it safely. The first of many, I am sure!

I was wrong and I admit it. I looked at that color on the online builder and wasn't a fan. But seeing it in these photographs, I gotta say, I like it. It needs the XR package to pull it off, but it looks very nice. Good looking rig ya got there, congrats on taking delivery!
