Any update?Talked to my dealer again, I told him it had already gone to the body vendor for add ons and he apologized and didn't realize that. That being said, its getting shipped by rail car TONIGHT at 2am!!!!!! He said once its on the rail car, he should be able to give me a pretty accurate delivery date tomorrow! So excited!!! ITS FINALLY COMING!!!
Not yet.Any update?
Did you hear it from JC directly or just my post from yesterday? I talked to another agent, Latisha, this morning and she said that the Toledo Plant is open. So there is certainly some confusion and miscommunication on their end as usual.... today marks day 9 for me with no movement from body vendor... Sadness ensues...What’s this I hear about Toledo being shut down the rest of this week? I mean, I get having an extra long holiday weekend but I’m thinking no more time off until mine gets shipped ?
A thread from here somewhere yesterday. Must have been yours. That’s awhile to be at body vendor. I’ve had parts gathered and scheduled for two weeks now. Trying to look at bright side. My May JL order sat in paint for 5 weeks and then they cancelled it. New VON, new VIN, had to start from scratch. No explanation.Did you hear it from JC directly or just my post from yesterday? Oh ok, yes that was me. I think so too. I figured it would be a quick turnaround once built. I guess not. And that is horrible... I can’t even imagine making it that far and then having it cancelled unexpectedly like that... I hope you hear some good news soon!A thread from here somewhere yesterday. Must have been yours. My dealer said once it ships it could take up to 3 weeks also. I’m with you tho, I’d rather go pick it up in Toledo myself. So my dealership reached out to me and confirmed that my Jeep made it on the rail car last night. Which will take it to NY and the. To Springfield Mass. Then a car carrier to my dealers location in Lowell Ma. He said he still doesn’t have an eta, but told me that it could be 3 or more weeks. Which I find ridiculous…. I asked him if they were pushing it out here? He has not responded back. It’s unfortunate we can’t pick them up closer considering the plant is only a 11 hr drive from me. We all know it’s not gonna be 3 weeks to get to me, but my dealership clearly isn’t being that helpful.
Finally 392XRs going into D1. I ordered 7/8 and still in DHere's an update from mine from JC today-
"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process shortly."
392 ordered 05/07, XR added on 07/08. So at least I am out of gathering parts now...
Also, I'd take CV's over U-Joints any day of the week. They provide the best performance and are ran in the most hardcore off road things including sport SXS's which take massive beatings with no issue.
