I am in the same boat. Do I want to spend upwards of $500 to get the wiring and hardware bought and installed over a long weekend or just sell the hard top I have hanging in the garage from my 2019... I will decide in the spring. lol

That's really good to hear. Thanks spdrcr5. I received an email this morning from Craig. He said my Jeep is in KZ LD status. I think that means "Released, not shipped, delayed", so hopefully it will arrive before the end of November. I really like the look of your Jeep. Mine is also Snazzberry and has almost the same options as yours. It's pretty loaded except for leather seats and the steel bumper. I really wanted the steel bumper, especially since it's "winch ready" but I felt like I needed to delete a few things to keep my overall price down. One thing that I discovered yesterday when i first found my window sticker.... The prices on the window sticker (i.e. base price, destination, cost of exterior paint etc) reflect current pricing rather than the pricing from the August order guide (when it was originally ordered).

When I heard mine was in KZ L status it arrived at Koons within 2 or 3 days. lol I got the steel bumpers because I like how they look, I bought the front one afterwards for my last Rubicon and it was worth the money upfront this time. The 2 things I am kicking myself for not getting are the forward camera and the hardtop. Jeep really needs to make the fact that a soft top wrangler doesn't have ANYTHING for the hard top more well known! None of the hardware or wiring is preinstalled. If you have or buy a hard top then be prepared to spend $500+ and 2 days to get it all installed. Thought I was saving money by not getting another hard top this time seeing as how I had one in the garage! lol

I couldn’t help noticing that you’re the latest example of many new owners having fuse box issues. A hot fuse box sounds like lose fuses. The erratic behaviors you describe could be due to those lose fuses. Hopefully the dealer can get this sorted out for you. For everyone else that will be taking delivery soon, it seems like this fuse box detail should be one of the items checked. This and the over inflated tires are the two recurring issues that are regularly posted on the forum.

Thank you for the message. 15 errors codes, the most serious being transmission. Owned for only 3 days and has already been in service for about 10 days. Most senior levels of Stellantis involved. Complete nightmare. Fuses were a little loose but not the main issue.

XR tires all inflated to 45 when door tag specifically calls for 35.

I can’t believe this is happening to me again….

Well, I picked up my brand new JLUR XR about 4 hours ago. Now I’m waiting on a tow truck 40miles away.

driving down the road and the ‘service electronic stability control’ error comes on. Then check engine. Then it stops accelerating. Pulled off the road turned it off. Turned it on. Same errors and a ‘service electronic throttle control’ error.

while I wait, I’ve check every fuse in the box. Any other suggestions? ?

Wow. Just happened to me after 3 days of being a new 392 XR owner. It has been in service going on 2 weeks. Please feel free to PM me and we can trade notes. Take a look at my prior posts if you can.

Well, still awaiting confirmation from our dealer, though after 30 days stuck in paint today Jeep Chat says, "gathering parts". A little frustrating?

It is a good thing I took our JKUR to southern Utah for a week. At least, I (my better half couldn't get off work) got to visit the Colorado River at the mouth of Lathrop Canyon, via Shaffer and White Rim trails, while we wait the JLUR XR.

So, while our JLUR XR apparently is having a rough week, I am good: impatient, frustrated, though good—

It's here, it's here - the wait is over (well, kinda)...

Got these pics from my dealer today! So pumped to have this thing built - now I wait just a little bit longer for it to ship up to me (it's currently in Kentucky and I'm in Connecticut). Hoping to be driving it this weekend!

My dealer hooked me up with a local driver from Kentucky. He came up in a sweet Chevy 3500HD diesel dually with enclosed gooseneck trailer...did a great job. James Napier was his name.

At this point, Stellantis owes you a free 392XR for the mental stress and anguish they have put you through by sending you two 392s with issues. ? I hope they treat you right and get it worked out. I have the exact build as you that is currently on its way to the dealer and I hope it’s not another statistic.
