This week is the week. Latest ETA was 9/19-9/24. We know eta's are useless but my ride showed up on Guptons website this morning. Gotta be close. New Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Inventory | Gupton Motors. Doesn't matter. If I'm flying cheap on Allegiant they only fly Thursday/Sundays to Nashville. Sunday is out, closed. Maybe this Thursday..... I know what's going to happen. It gets delivered today and I book a much too expensive flight to music city tomorrow Just kidding. My first original order was 5/15. I can wait a few more days to fly $43 one way. I just want that pic of her sitting on the dealers lot. All of my accessories have arrived and it's still warm enough to go naked for a few weeks

Damnit!! I'll have to let it sit for a month to make up for those miles. It will be like when I was in the Marine Corp. The single guys living on base would go out and buy a new IROC or Mustang but you would see them all in the parking lot not getting driven. 1-They didn't have a drivers license 2-At 24% interest they couldn't afford gas or insurance. 3-From a big city and didn't know how to drive anything but a subway token. They'd just wash/wax and sit in them and listen music

Talked about this with all the newcomers on base as a 1Sgt. Moto was “make good decisions now so you can afford the bad ones later”.

Montway Auto Transport called this morning. They have a carrier picking up my jeep from Chapman in PA today, said it would arrive at my house in IL tomorrow.

Though now I am confused. JLJS74 is an Unlimited Rubicon (could be 3.6l V6, 2.0l I4 turbo, or 3.0l turbo diesel), JLJX74 is an Unlimited Rubicon 392, and JLXS74 is a Unlimited Rubicon 4XE. Please learn me what a JLUR is–

JL - blanket term for this model, also may refer to a 2 door sport or sport S

JLU - refers to a JL in "unlimited" form (4 door)

Suffix's

Adding an "R" to either denotes Rubicon trim

Adding an "S" to either denotes Sahara trim

Adding a D to either denotes diesel

Adding an XR denotes Xtreme Recon package (35's, lift, upgraded gears/axles/brakes/etc)

These may be combined, for example JLURD is a JL unlimited rubicon diesel

I figured it might be something like that. While it's entirely accurate to use that, it's not widely used in most circles.

Welcome to the forum by the way! I see you're a fellow Texan ?. Do you have an Xtreme Recon on order? Or did you just stumble into this thread?
