The main AGM battery in my 2019 2.0L eTorque-equipped Jeep died without warning one morning. The Jeep was 5 years old at the time. Lucky I was home at the time. The dash lit up like a Christmas tree and the Jeep wouldn't start. The lead acid batteries in my other vehicles would always feel weak during startup when it was time to replace.

My jumpstarter was not robust enough to start the Jeep. I had to buy a new AGM batttery from the autoparts store.

I had my used 2020 Rubicon 28,000 miles for 1 day and noticed ESS said not available battery charging. Called the Dealership, they said bring it in. Ended replacing both batteries no charge, all good now.

I currently have my fifth Wrangler in 30 years and have never had a breakdown.

Any idea what blew the N3?
I'm not sure but some work had been done on the Jeep so it's possible it got shorted out while removing wires from the battery. The AUX battery drained then started draining the main battery. If you search the forums there are some pretty good threads of explanations of what happens when the N3 blows.

Yep been there done that.
My truck got stuck out in the woods for 2 weeks with a blown transmission because "that don't look that deep".

I was 19 at the time.
Not stuck then…just temporarily parked

Always assume joking even if I’m being serious. You’ll be right 99% of the time and can generally ignore the other 1%.
If you take anything I say serious that's a you problem not a me problem.

Oh I forgot about the 3rd time the Jeep left me stranded. During the troubleshooting after time #2 I left it at the dealer for 3 weeks while they did nothing with it. Does being stranded at your own house count?

I did a lot of puzzles and arts & crafts those 3 weeks.

Thanks! I just removed my aux and all the wires, and am planning on using the N3 to jump power to N1. Because N3 is now open. Was just curious if you were doing something out of the ordinary when it blew. I was very careful about separating all the wires and taping them off. So hopefully it will start up fine. Still waiting on the jumper to complete the install. Found a place that makes custom lengths and custom bent ring connectors.

Our 2023 failed to start after driving it from Idaho to WA at 600 miles. Towed to dealer to have the clutch position sensor and engine harness replaced. Dealer blamed it on corrosion. From the time it was built to the time we picked it up was about 30 days. Knock on wood its been two years and 12K later no issues.

Mine left me stranded at the post office., a mere two miles from home. Classic Avengers sign on dash during drive there, and a no start after I got the mail..

Stranded in my driveway due to aux battery failure. Somewhat quickly resolved after I determined that the problem was with the aux battery.
